Ron Combs Wins at Greensburg

Ron Combs took his fifth win of the 2010 Dutch Mill Buffet UMRA TQ Midget season in the 25-lap feature event at the Decatur County Fairgrounds in Greensburg on “UMRA Fan Appreciation Night.” Combs made the winning pass on Jason Goff going into the first turn in the second half of the feature event. It was the second time this season that Combs has won a feature event at his home track in Greensburg. Jason Goff finished second, Oogie Goff was third, Brent Turner was fourth, and Zach Cougill rounded out the top five.
Ron Combs was had quick time at 16.370 seconds. The trophy dash was won by Terry Goff. Eight-lap heat races were won by Doug Roland, Terry Goff, and Brent Turner. The 12-lap semi feature was won by Ron Combs. The $50 from the “Tony Stewart Rookie Challenge” went to Jon Steed. The five gallons of fuel from the G&G Oil “Hard Charger of the Race” was Oogie Goff.
The next race in the 50th anniversary season of the Dutch Mill Buffet UMRA TQ Midgets is Saturday September 18th at the Anderson Speedway.
